You have a chance to be part of an elite alumni in the WFA and to be selected as an All-American! After winning the inaugural WTFL League Championship (2021), the Warriors look to continue being a force in Women's Football. Let's show the country how strong football is in Utah and get ready to play Warrior football.

I have been working with Women's Football teams since 2014 and have been a coach for 15 years. I played football in Texas and was honorable mention all state. I played high school football, rugby and tennis in college. I have coached baseball, basketball and football in my life. I am married with 2 sons, 2 dogs named Maverick and Luna and moved to Utah in 2013.  I have one Women's championship to my name. WTFL 2021 undefeated champions.

I started playing womens football in 2011 with the Utah Jynx, playing a little offense and then finding my love on the defense line. The 2nd year I played I was nominated to the Defense all american team. Then I played for the Utah Blitz for several years. After a few seasons, I then joined the Wasatch Warriors which have been the best football I have ever played. Winning Nationals in 2021 was the last year I played. Due to age and injuries I had to hang up the cleats and try my hand in coaching football. This is my first year with the Warriors and my 3rd year coaching the sophomore team at Taylorsville High School. I have previously coached 17 years in my first teaching years. Returning to the game in a new way is a great challenge. My goal for these women is to become stronger mentally, emotionally and physically. Also helping them to know you can achieve your goals and overcome anything.

Coach

TJ Lachance

I got involved in Women’s Football in 2016 when my wife at time got recruited to play. I spent that year as a fan observing and giving her pointers when she trained outside of practice. I started coaching in 2017 and have loved every minute of it. In 2019 I helped lay the foundation for what would become the Wasatch Warriors. Being around all of these women that love football as much as I do is really awe inspiring. Knowing that they all have families to take care of and normal everyday jobs to go to, yet still come out and put in the work every day is truly a testament to their love of the game. They truly are Warriors. My goal is to not only coach and teach them football, but to turn them into All-Americans and champions.
